Luxury bespoke hotel holidays to Hotel Lou Pinet, Saint-Tropez, Provence
The 5-star Lou Pinet occupies a privileged position in the residential quarter of Le Pinet, where umbrella pines create a natural sanctuary just minutes from Saint-Tropez’s bustling centre. This boutique hotel, part of the distinguished Maisons Pariente collection, captures the bohemian spirit that once enchanted artistic legends including Pablo Picasso, Francoise Sagan, Juliette Greco, and Boris Vian. The hotel’s 34 rooms and suites have been designed by renowned architect Charles Zana, who has masterfully blended traditional Provencal materials, such as linen, ceramics, rope, and terracotta, with contemporary comfort and style. Each room is enhanced by the Mediterranean light, many boasting dual-aspect windows and all with private garden terraces. The property’s swimming pool, one of the largest in Saint-Tropez, forms the heart of the hotel, surrounded by stone terraces where guests can relax in the shade of ancient pines and look out over gardens designed by landscape Jean Mus. The culinary offerings of the restaurants celebrate both local and regional flavours, with the acclaimed BeefBar specialising in premium cuts of meat and La Terrasse offering all-day Mediterranean dining. The Tata Harper Spa, nestled within the gardens, offers organic treatments using locally-sourced ingredients as well as a hammam. This intimate retreat successfully balances the glamour and sophistication expected of Saint-Tropez with the authentic charm and warm hospitality of a private family home.
