Luxury bespoke holidays and tours to Le Clos St Vincent, Alsace
Ribeauville is a picturesque, mediaeval small town at the heart of the Wine Road of Alsace amid gently sloping vineyards. The Clos St Vincent is just under a mile from the centre of Ribeauville superbly perched above the town, literally surrounded by vineyards and enjoying a splendid view over the town, the vineyards and the Rhine valley. In fine weather you can see the hills of the Black Forest in the distance. The 4 star Clos St Vincent has been built to afford maximum appreciation of this position. It is a long low building originally dating from about 40 years ago with new parts having been added, and the bedrooms, the restaurant and a terrace enjoy excellent views. There is a bar service and a lounge at the Le Clos St Vincent hotel and a gastronomic restaurant with a light and airy atmosphere, traditionally decorated. A bonus is the indoor swimming pool.
Room descriptions
Le Clos St Vincent has just 20 rooms and 4 apartments which are all furnished comfortably with private bathroom, telephone, mini bar, television and safe. All rooms either have a balcony or open directly into the garden.

About Alsace
An Expressions tailor-made holiday to Alsace enables you to visit both the northern Vosges and the cultivated quaintness of the Alsatian Wine Road during your holiday in the region. With its combination of stunning natural scenery in the wooded hills and valleys of the Vosges mountains, with ruins of mediaeval fortresses and fortified villages, with gently sloping vineyards facing the Rhine valley and with fairy-tale like towns of pretty half-timbered houses and cobbled streets, Alsace is a region well worth visiting. Standing at the crossroads of Europe, Alsace encapsulates an unmistakeably European flavour where historic and cultural influences of its French and German neighbours have created a unique atmosphere with an independent character and great traditions.
Highlights of Alsace
Sample Choucroute and Gugelhupf, Wine and Beer, the Cherry festivals in May, the festival of Son et Lumiere at Strasbourg cathedral in the summer, the Wine festivals in the autumn, and the Christmas markets towards the end of the year.
