Six Senses La Sagesse is a luxury boutique resort of immense style and spaciousness located in natural surroundings and secluded by verdant hills on the south-east coast of Grenada, about 45 minutes by car from the airport. The hotel of just 56 pool suites and 15 villas with one to four bedrooms and pool mimics a picturesque Caribbean village, influenced by the region’s traditional architecture and designed to follow the natural topography of the land. The resort enjoys a prime position between La Sagesse bay with is shallow warm waters and L’Anse Pere ocean front and set around a lagoon. There are three restaurants to choose from, including the Callaloo for all-day dining, SeaFire signature restaurant and Panquai breeze bar and grill. A focal point is the Six Senses Spa, designed in the style of a traditional fishing village. About Grenada

Highlights of Grenada
The carnival is in August. Food is excellent: specialities include lambi (conch), callaloo soup made of dasheen leaves, goat and seafood, nutmeg features on top of rum punches and in breakfast jelly. Rum and Carib beer are the local drinks. Perfumes and pot pourris made from the island`s spices as well as the spices themselves, straw, palm and wood craft ware all make excellent souvenirs. Recommended excursions include St George`s, Gouvaye, Concord Falls, Dougaldston Estate, Grand Etang forest centre, Grenville, Morne Fendue plantation house and La Sagesse Protected Seascape of beaches, mangrove, salt pond and coral reef.
Travel around Grenada
The hotels we feature are a short distance by taxi from the airport. However, a hire-car is very useful for visiting the island, getting into St George’s, exploring the coast for harbours and beaches. Cars can be booked through the hotels and delivered to your hotel.
