One&Only Le Saint Geran is a first-class resort that combines luxury and comfort with attentive and unobtrusive service. The resort benefits from a superb natural location on the east coast of Mauritius, set in sixty acres of tropical garden and countless coconut palms. Flanked by the Indian Ocean on one side and a sheltered lagoon on the other, the resort has over two kilometres of white sand beach. Once you have arrived in your room, your personal butler will be at hand to help you unpack and settle in. The junior suites and ocean suites all face the sea or the lagoon and are either on ground level, opening onto the garden with the beach a short distance beyond, or on the first floor with a large balcony. The furnishings are discreet, comfortable and elegant and have a local flavour. However, it is in the detail that the luxury really prevails - for example, a choice of pillow, soap and fragrance menu, luggage pack and unpack service, Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down and feather duvets. Fine dining is catered for throughout the day. PRIME, the 'contemporary grill', serves revisited classics, and Rasoi by Vineet, the tropical waterside restaurant featuring the acclaimed cuisine of Michelin-star chef Vineet Bhatia, serves mordern-Indian cuisine. Daytimes can be as active or as lazy as you like, with the beach concierge service offering free iPod service with your selection of music, a range of sports and water sports, as well as the One&Only Spa by ESPA for pampering and relaxation. Children are very well looked after with an excellent complimentary KidsOnly Club with their own swimming pool. The lush Gary Player 9-hole golf course has its own clubhouse and the One&Only Golf Academy. The great skill of the resort is the way that the sheer luxury of environment and service is complemented by a full range of holiday and leisure amenities that fit together perfectly.

The journey and how you get there

For a holiday to One&Only Le Saint Geran in Mauritius, Expressions Holidays includes flights from London to Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport with British Airways direct. The flying time is about 12 hours. There are flights with other international airlines, for example Air Mauritius from London both direct and via Paris or Amsterdam and Emirates with departures from London and UK regional airports via Dubai. One&Only Le Saint Geran is about 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from the airport and Expressions Holidays will arrange a private car transfer.

Additional information

Minimum stays: Minimum stay of 9 nights from 24 December to 8 January. Minimum of 5 nights between 29 March and 17 April.

Children: Children of all ages are very welcome all year round. Up to 2 children under the age of 13 stay free of charge when sharing with parents on a bed and breakfast basis, subject to maximum room capacity. KidsOnly Club is free for all children aged 4 to 12 and arranges themed days and activities twelve hours a day. Children aged 2 to 3 years are admitted but must be accompanied by an adult. Teens club for 13 to 17 year olds.
