The Woodman Estate is a luxury country house and restaurant, set in 50 acres of bushland and rolling pastures on the Mornington Peninsula. A Victorian manor house and grounds, the Woodman overlooks a beautiful private lake with it own island. The Lodge and Manor House suites are indiviually decorated and have their own unique style but all have stunning views of the estate grounds. In addition, the Woodman Estate has three luxurious Lakeside chalets, located right on the water's edge. Guests can choose to dine in the formal dining room, the elegant a la carte brasserie or on the verandah overlooking the water. Game dishes and seafood are specialities and the wine cellar features both local and international wines. The new Spa Retreat offers a full range of massages, skincare and beauty products, all in the estate's tranquil grounds. With Melbourne only one hour's drive away, the Woodman Estate is still within reach of the city whilst enjoying a rural setting on the peninsula.

The journey and how you get there

For a holiday to The Woodman Estate on the Mornington Peninsula, Expressions Holidays includes flights from London to Melbourne with British Airways or Qantas (flying time is about 22 hrs to Melbourne), but Melbourne is served by a wide variety of international airlines and we can include other airlines in your holiday. The chosen airline will depend upon any stopovers you might want to make en-route to Australia. The Woodman Estate is a 1 hour and 20-minute drive from Melbourne Airport. Expressions Holidays recommends the use of a hire-car for visiting this hotel, and we will include that in the price of your holiday, although private car transfers can be provided as an alternative.
