Luxury festive breaks for Christmas and New Year in European cities

Expressions Holidays creates tailor-made, luxury festive breaks to European cities. We offer centrally located hotels of comfort and character, ideal as a base for rest, relaxation and exploration over the festive season. Christmas is usually quieter in Europe with a special meal offered on Christmas Eve in the evening or at lunchtime on Christmas Day. If a hotel does not have its own restaurant, we can make suggestions, and pre-booking would be required in any case. Most places of interest are open except on Christmas Day and, of course, their usual weekly closing day. New Year is always a much more boisterous affair and places may get very booked very early on – both hotels and restaurants. On this page you’ll find just a selection of some of the hotels we work with in European cities, recommended for the festive season. Many others are possible and can be found on the pages of this website.
