Our opinion
La Manga Club Resort offers 5 star hotel accommodation and 4 star self-catering accommodation in the Las Lomas village. Recreational facilities, particularly sports for adults and children are outstanding.
Hotel description
A resort offering extensive leisure and sports for both adults and children, La Manga Club consists of Hotel la Manga Club Principe Felipe, a five star hotel, and Las Lomas Village, a four star self-catering village. The resort of 1400 acres nestles amongst the gentle hills of the Murcian Mountains, in an enviable position that commands beautiful views over the countryside. The resort has an immense range of sports and recreation facilities for families.
Families will appreciate the excellent accommodation at Las Lomas Village, where the brightly coloured buildings reflect the style of the traditional villages of the area. The townhouses which have between one and three bedrooms provide great freedom and space for families, with a fully equipped kitchen and a separate living room. In the five star Hotel la Manga Club Principe Felipe there is a choice of standard and Royal Club rooms with additional benefits such as a Royal Club lounge and reductions. One of the main attractions for guests in both the village and the Principe Felipe hotel is the wealth of sporting activities that are available at the resort from the three 18-hole golf courses that are amongst the best in Europe. Special golf packages are available with discounted green fees as well as a Golf Academy and a Junior Golf Academy. Another highly prized feature here is the tennis with its courts and Academy, again with lessons for both adults and children. For sports all rounders we can offer the Best Golf, Sports and More Package that offers a daily round of golf, spa treatment, tennis, mountain biking, diving or dinner. Further facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and babies’ pool, an indoor lap pool and children’s pool. The resort runs the Funlandia children's programme in the main school holidays, where they can enjoy an excellent range of activities such as dancing, table-football, crafts and films. Families can also enjoy mountain biking, excursions and go-karting. Dining options are numerous at La Manga Club, with twenty-two different restaurants and bars offering a tempting range of cuisines throughout the resort. There is a small beach in a cove but there are lots of other beaches within easy driving distance. This is a perfect destination for a longer holiday at any time of year, combining a wealth of facilities with high standards of service.
