A gentle tour of the south-west of France, starting with the famous vineyards of the Médoc and then heading south-west across the flat pine forests of the Landes towards the Pyrenees and the gently rising hills of the Basque country. From here you can explore coast and country before venturing north-east towards the walled town of Carcassonne.
