Hotel description

This Small Luxury Hotel of the World is a five star luxury family hotel situated on Agia Paraskevi, one of the most beautiful locations on the island of Skiathos, renowned for its natural beauty and stunning white sand beaches. The hotel combines the charm of a small hotel with 5 star facilities and levels of comfort yet with a highly personalised service that is aimed at families.A highlight of this hotel, in addition to its white sand beach, is the professionally run Kids Club, complimentary for children aged 4 to 12 and at a reasonable charge for under 4s. The extensive range of entertaining and enticing indoor and outdoor activities organised by the well-trained staff at the Kids Club are designed to ensure maximum enjoyment for children and minimum inconvenience to adults, whether travelling with children or not. Evening entertainment is held three times a week too. Another attraction for families are the family rooms, located on the ground floor, that can take up to 2 adults and 2 children with two double beds. Deluxe family rooms have a double and two single beds separated by a screen. The hotel is geared to providing amenities for children and dining arrangements that suit families, with children’s menus being available in all restaurants. The main, outdoor and indoor, restaurant Leto Concept, is open for breakfast and dinner and is based on three concepts with open plan cuisine offering Mediterranean, grills and Asian food. The Muse offers bistro style food throughout the day and PR Ammos serves Mediterranean and Greek cuisine on the beach. As well has offering day long activities for children, the Skiathos Princess Hotel lives up to its status as a Small Luxury Hotel of the World and has an array of attractions for adults too with the Harmony Club spa and fitness, water sports and diving a short distance away. The island itself is ideal for visiting by hire-car or you can take excursions by boat to neighbouring islands.

Children's Club

Little Seals Creche is for infants and children aged from 6 months to 4 years old. It is operated by fully qualified nursery nurses with current CRB checks. The crèche operates to OFSTED standards. One adult looks after a maximum of 3 children. The cost is about Euros 30 per session and includes a baby meal. Staff are trained in first aid. It is open from Sundays to Fridays from 10 until 1 and from 2 until 5. Activities and equipment include drawing, modelling clay, plastic and wooden blocks, dancing, singing, tunnels, puzzles, musical instruments, farms etc. There is air-conditioning and it is located on the ground floor below the reception area and it covers an area of about 40 sq metres.
Little Seals Club is for children aged 4 to 12 years old. It is complimentary and is staffed by fully qualified nursery staff and operates to OFSTED standards. The ratio is one adult to a maximum of 5 children and it runs from the beginning of May until October Sundays to Fridays from 10 until 1 and from 2 until 5 as well as on the evenings of Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 until 10 pm. A variety of indoor and outdoor activities are provided including cooking, team games, crafts, treasure hunting. The area is about 20 sq metres and it has day light, air-conditioning and is close to the hotel lobby. Meals are provided at a supplement.

Babysitting: Baby monitoring services are available. Baby-sitting is available for daytime and evenings. Cost in the evening is about Euros 12 per hour for one child.
Pre-ordering service Food items, nappies, milk etc can be ordered in advance. Organic baby food is available locally.
Children’s entertainment: DVDs on request, films, board games, evening activities.
Medical facilities: Nearest doctor is 7 kms away but is on call 24 hours.
Family dining: Children are allowed in all restaurants. There are children’s menus available in all restaurants.
Family rooms: There are family rooms of 28 sq metres that sleep up to 4 people with two double beds and deluxe family rooms of 38 sq metres of one double bed and two single beds separated by a wooden separation wall with venetian blinds. Some of these interconnect. Junior suites take 2 adults and 1 child. All Junior suites are interconnecting. Family rooms are on the ground floor.
Children’s amenities: The hotel can provide cots, baby bath, potty, changing mat, safety gate, bottle sterilising kit, bottle heating facility, night light. Electric sockets can be covered for safety.
For children: Children’s shampoo and bath gel is provided.
