Hotel description
The Sheraton Rhodes Resort enjoys a favourable beachside location just a few kilometres from the historic town of Rhodes. The Sheraton Resort underwent complete refurbishment in the winter of 2010 and opened in the Spring of that year to offer the standard of facilities and service synonymous with Sheraton resorts that prove so popular with our family clients. The private beach is a mixture of sand and pebble but offers swimming and water sports for families and the hotel, a modern, white-washed building, stands in landscaped gardens overlooking Ixia Bay. Ixia with its shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is only about 300 metres away. The striking Mediterranean colour scheme of white and blue is prevalent not only in the exterior of the hotel but in the newly refurbished rooms and public areas. White cushions and contemporary wicker furniture enhance the feeling of luxury. Splendid palm trees provide shade to the main pool area with its white cushioned sun beds and umbrellas. Bedrooms are calming and comfortable and are equipped with plush mattress, luxurious linens and lots of plump pillows. The resort has three distinctly different restaurants offering a range of cuisine including International, Mediterranean and Greek. The lounge bar on the sixth floor is a perfect spot for cocktails and pre-dinner drinks with its large, inviting lounge beds and idyllic views over the Aegean Sea. A Kids Club offers complimentary activities for 4 to 12 year olds indoors and out. There is a good choice of both family rooms and inter connecting rooms, to suit family parties of different shapes and sizes. Family rooms of 45 sq metres with either mountain or sea view accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Other room types accommodate up to 3 adults each but can be connected ie classic, superior sea view and deluxe sea view.
Each room has air-conditioning, fridge, in-room safe, coffee and tea amenities, telephone, radio, television, hair dryer.
