Hotel description
The Hotel Byron’s gracious low buildings are slightly set back from Forte dei Marmi’s coastal road and promenade and just ten minutes’ walk from the centre of the resort. The Hotel Byron was a private family residence in the 19th Century and has been converted carefully to provide the comforts and ambience of a five star hotel, yet the air of the former patrician villa that it was is unmistakable. Public rooms are simply but elegantly furnished and include inviting sitting areas, a reading room and a pretty terrace where breakfast can be taken. The twenty-nine bedrooms are situated in the main villa and each room is different in terms of style, size and aspect. The restaurant, La Magnolia, on two floors, is housed in a separate building by the pool. Dining is also outside on the poolside terrace in summer months. Hotel guests use the nearby beach in Forte dei Marmi but payment for the use of the beach is direct and not to the hotel. Charges start at about Euros 50 a day for the use of the beach. The Hotel Byron is a relaxing and charming hotel within easy access of the smart shops and bars of the resort of Forte dei Marmi.
