Set in gently rolling countryside of fields and vineyards in the attractive region of Franciacorta about seven miles south of the Lago d’Iseo, L’Albereta Locanda is also known in Italy by the name of its famous chef, Gualtiero Marchesi, who has earned two Michelin stars. L’Albereta Locanda is a 5 star hotel with 57 rooms, standing in its own grounds of lawns and flower beds with vineyards starting on the premises. The hotel has great charm and style in its decoration and ambience, with all rooms furnished individually and of a good size with private bathrooms; some bedrooms also have a balcony or direct access to the garden. The public areas of L’Albereta Locanda are relaxing, with lounges, a terrace, a bar, an indoor swimming pool and sun terrace, fitness area, tennis court, sauna and Turkish bath. There is also an ultra-modern regenerative spa which has been designed to maximise natural light.
