Hewn out of the rugged cliffs on a headland just outside of Positano, Hotel San Pietro occupies a stunning location and is one of the most prestigious hotels on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. A 5 star hotel and Relais & Châteaux member, the San Pietro is famous for its terraces, which are adorned by flowering plants and shrubs, as well as its panoramic views and high standards of hospitality. Amongst the pink and purple bougainvillaea that colour the hotel there is ample space to relax, from the sun terraces and the private shingle beach that benefits from bar service to the swimming pool that is reached by a lift inside the cliff face. Further relaxation can be enjoyed in the Turkish Bath or by making use of a number of well-being packages that are available for guests, including face and body treatments and massages. Vegetables are grown in the terraced gardens and are made use of in the hotel’s restaurant, which has been awarded one Michelin star. The hotel is enlivened throughout by plants, from the spacious lounges to the guest bedrooms. All bedrooms have a sea view and a private balcony or terrace and have a distinct Neapolitan flavour, with ornate ceramic floor tiles, vaulted ceilings and luxurious white upholstered armchairs. San Pietro is a wonderful place to immerse yourself, offering sophisticated luxury in a superlative setting.
