The Mezzatorre Resort and Spa offers the ideal location for those who truly wish to 'get away from it all' for a while and yet enjoy luxurious surroundings. Set in splendid isolation on the headland just above San Montano Bay, this imposing hotel was built around an original 16th Century watch tower, from where the views over the sea and Ischia's western shores are unsurpassed on the island. The tower houses two elegant lounges and the Spa, as well as six suites and the new deluxe Grand Suite. The backdrop is an enchanting forest of pines and oaks, spanning seven hectares, all of which belongs to the Mezzatorre Resort and Spa. The restaurant and large seawater swimming pool, surrounded by sun-terraces, face the sea and some steps lead down to the rocky bay below, where a selection of watersports are on offer, as well as the opportunity to simply relax and enjoy the scenery. The luxurious bedrooms, air-conditioned and decorated in fresh, summery colours, are in a series of buildings in the grounds.
