Paradise Cove Hotel & Spa “Great for dramatic seascapes, beautiful gardens and traditional comfort.”
Paradise Cove Hotel & Spa enjoys a remarkable position on a headland, facing the uninhabited islands that lie off Mauritius’s northern coast. The entrance to the property is a dramatic one and immediately sets the tone. Teak furniture, exquisite lampshades, carefully placed vases and Asian antiques create a feeling of comfort and style. Flowers abound throughout the property, both inside and in the beautiful gardens, whilst palm trees sway over the swimming pool. A shady garden area leads down to the hotel’s sheltered cove, where you can relax on the beach or in the calm turquoise waters. There is also a hillier garden on the far side of the cove, which leads down to the hotel’s jetty. Dining at Paradise Cove is a great pleasure. L'Epicerie is the main restaurant offering a range of international and local dishes. For something a little more intimate, thatched huts for two are available at the seafood restaurant La Cocoteraie. Guests can take advantage of the location with a catamaran cruise or snorkelling and waterskiing on the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. A full range of massages and treatments are offered in the Cinq Mondes Spa, including an aromatic scrub massage and an ‘aromas and colours’ hammam treatment. All of the bedrooms face the cove, although the magnificent palms that are scattered through the grounds do obstruct a direct view. The rooms are furnished with dark woods, silks and vibrant colours, and each has a private terrace or balcony. Paradise Cove Hotel & Spa offers charm, quality and comfort. It is possible to add on the He & She all inclusive package which includes meals and drinks in addition to a catamaran cruise, sparkling wine at breakfast and a weekly cocktail party.
