    Our opinion

Heritage Le Telfair is an outstanding resort with extensive grounds and a most impressive range of facilities to suit all ages.

    Hotel description

The magnificent 19th century sugar planation of Bel Ombre once occupied the land where Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort is situated, on the south coast of Mauritius. Le Telfair is an impressive and truly unique resort, located in beautiful countryside with Plaine Champagne mountain rising in the background. The resort’s colonial plantation-influenced architecture is complemented by simple yet luxurious interiors, creating a most elegant ambience throughout.
Heritage Le Telfair is made up of 158 rooms and suites, which are located in villas spread throughout the resort. The rooms reflect both the vibrant natural environment and the colonial style seen throughout the resort’s public spaces. Polished wooden floors, marble and mosaics are complemented by the deep blue, light gold and natural tones of the fine fabrics used. The suites benefit from their own private butler who will attend discreetly to any request, 24 hours a day. The pathways, rustic bridges, lily ponds and fountains that grace the gardens help to create a tranquil and relaxing ambience. Heritage Le Telfair offers a truly outstanding range of facilities, including the spa, set amongst tropical gardens and surrounded by ponds, four restaurants and three floodlit tennis courts. A kids’ club and a teenagers’ club are open throughout the year, offering an extensive range of activities both on and off site, such as bike tours, glass bottom boat trips and arts and crafts. Bel Ombre nature and deer reserve is located nearby, where guests can enjoy a number of activities, including horse riding, cycling and walking. The resort’s golf course is accessed by golf cart along a private pathway and features a fully equipped clubhouse, professional coaching and a golf boutique. Le Telfair Golf & Spa is an outstanding resort with extensive grounds and a most impressive range of facilities.
