Hotel description
Set in extensive parkland in the hills above Cannes, the honey-coloured Mas Candille enjoys the beauty and serenity of an inland location but is just 4 miles away from the thriving atmosphere of Cannes. The 46 spacious rooms and suites are divided between the original 18th Century farmhouse, La Villa Candille and the Bastide, all of which have been constructed in Provençal style and offer luxury four-star accommodation in a peaceful setting. All are individually decorated in a style that combines antique furnishings with light, natural colours and modern amenities such as CD and DVD players and Internet access. The hotel benefits from a beautiful rimless swimming pool from where you can enjoy stunning vistas across the countryside. A smaller, more intimate pool is an added bonus. After a day of either wandering around the artists' village of Mougins or relaxing in the well-kept grounds of the hotel, guests can enjoy a culinary feast in the Michelin starred Restaurant Le Candille, or opt for the more relaxed feel of the poolside restaurant, La Pergola. If you're seeking the ultimate in pampering and restoration you need look no further than the Shiseido Spa, which nestles in a private area of the hotel’s grounds.
