Hotel description
Surrounded by acres of lush, tropical gardens on 300-yards of sandy beach, The BodyHoliday offers a multitude of tempting holiday leisure activities and opportunities. The BodyHoliday is dedicated to well-being, and as such combines the delights of an active beach holiday with one of the most recognised destination spas in the world. Guests are free to choose to do as much or as little as they desire. You can benefit from a full range of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments at The Oasis Centre of Health & Wellbeing, which has a beautiful setting away from the main hotel building and so guaranteeing optimum tranquillity. Further rest and relaxation can be found amongst the acres of lush gardens, with their cascades of purple bougainvillaea and the scent of ylang-ylang and gardenia. There is also a secluded beach that is beautifully fringed by palm trees and from where a number of gentle water sports such as snorkelling and sunfish sailing are available. If you are a dedicated sports person there is an excellent and diverse range of opportunities, from cycling tours, tennis and swimming to fencing, archery and scuba diving. Wining and dining is also an important feature of The BodyHoliday, with buffet breakfasts and lunches offering an tempting array of fruits, salads and cooked dishes, whilst dinner is more formal with interesting options for the calorie conscious as well as more calorie indulgent dishes. There are several choices for dinner, from the award-winning TAO restaurant, which offers an east-west fusion, to the informal grills, meat and fish in the Clubhouse Grill. Evenings can start at 7pm with a cocktail or aperitif in the Piano Bar, and after dinner there is a nightly show featuring live Caribbean entertainment such as limbo dancing, fire eating or a steel band. From 11pm there is music for dancing if you want to continue to enjoy the soft Caribbean nights. The bedrooms at The BodyHoliday are decorated in a colonial-style with comfortable furniture. The Grand Luxury Ocean Front rooms are particularly inviting with their inviting large terrace that overlooks the ocean. For a luxurious ambience and all-inclusive facilities, The BodyHoliday is outstanding.

A range of classes are also available, from the holistic such as Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, T’ai Chi, Meditation and Pilates.
