Our opinion
Sophisticated and luxurious, the Fairmont Royal Pavilion pampers and pleases.
Hotel description
Approached along a driveway shaded by tall palm trees, the Fairmont Royal Pavilion offers seclusion from the outside world amid acres of fragrant landscaped gardens, bursting with tropical plants and vibrant flowers. More like a plantation house than a hotel, the property’s hallmark is its feeling of space. With its pale pink façade, turrets and columns, it has an oriental flavour enhanced by its lily ponds and courtyard fountains. The Fairmont Royal Pavilion has a luxurious ambience and is a hotel where the emphasis is on pampering and pleasing. Gourmet dining is offered in the elegant Palm restaurant with its oceanfront setting, exotic plants and soft breezes. Taboras Restaurant offers a more casual fare. In the daytime you can relax on the half-mile of soft, golden sand alongside the hotel, enjoy an energetic game of tennis, refresh yourself with snorkelling or sailing or just soak up the sun at the side of the beachfront swimming pool. The 72 bedrooms all have ocean view and are comfortably appointed with high standards of amenities and services and there is a villa with garden view which can accommodate up to six persons. The rooms have an elegant feel which has been influenced by Caribbean flavours, interpreted with refined and contemporary touches. Early booking is recommended as the Fairmont Royal Pavilion is an extremely popular hotel with very many repeat guests.
