Galley Bay offers all-inclusive value with wonderful character in delightful natural surroundings

Situated just four miles from the capital of Antigua, the Galley Bay hotel is in a beautiful natural location amid hills and fields. Galley Bay sits on a beautiful stretch of palm-fringed yellow-white sand beach, three quarters of a mile long and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. It is reached across a lagoon that is also a bird sanctuary here in Antigua. The Galley Bay resort offers high standards of accommodation, service and facilities. With only 69 rooms it has an intimate charm and cosiness, aided by its stunning beachfront location and gardens of exotic plants and shrubs. Numerous holiday activities are available here at Galley Bay: you can try your hand at complimentary windsurfing and sunfish sailing, play tennis, just relax on the sandy beach, read in the shade of a swaying palm tree or sip a cocktail at the Galley Bay bar. If you want to venture further afield then scuba diving, riding and golf can be arranged not far from the Galley Bay hotel for a supplement. West Indian-inspired dinner is served in the Sea-Grape restaurant. A unique feature of the Galley Bay resort is the Gauguin cottage rooms, set in the tropical gardens between beach and lagoon, rustic in flavour, cosily romantic and now boasting private splash pools. For more conventional contemporary accommodation we would recommend the beachfront rooms.
