In the South West, the Bordeaux region offers the discerning guest a superb opportunity to appreciate French wines to the full. Bordeaux is renowned the world over for its wines and châteaux and is highly recommended for all who are seeking a superlative wine tasting experience in France.
The elegant, copper hued town of Cognac in the South West of France is bordered by the celebrated Bordeaux vineyards of St. Emillion and Médoc and opens up a new world of distinctive French wine-tasting and appreciation.
For the discerning palette, the delicate wines of the Loire Valley are perfect for a wine appreciation holiday in France. Known as the ‘Garden of France’ for its gentle countryside, vineyards, forests and numerous châteaux, it is easy to see why this was once the former hunting grounds of the Kings of France.
