Luxury authentic Caribbean holiday at Nisbet Plantation, Nevis
We include a scheduled flight with British Airways from London to St Kitts. You are met by the hotel’s representative and transferred to Nisbet Plantation on the neighbouring island of Nevis by car and boat. The two islands are separated by just two miles of water, so it’s a short and scenic boat ride.
You have six whole days to enjoy the charm of Nevis and the amenities of Nisbet Plantation. Designed to complement the indulgent Caribbean climate, the hotel’s colonial-style architecture artfully sifts lively sea breezes through trellised balconies and shuttered windows. The marvellous structure is witnessed at its best from the well-maintained garden lawns that link the house to the beach and pool areas, creating a broad and grassy boulevard bordered by lofty palms. Days at Nisbet Plantation may be filled with action and idleness alike. Beachside hammocks propose guilty indulgence, where swinging bodies enjoy the shade with book – or cocktail – in hand. Take a refreshing dip in either the oceanfront, freshwater pool or in the sea, protected by an off-shore reef. This expanse of sea is equally suited to water sports, from kayaking to snorkelling. The shoreline is brimming with life, and snorkelling can uncover an underwater microcosm of native species hidden amongst reefs, wrecks and caverns. Witness more of inland Nevis by cycling or hiking through the rainforest, or by renting scooters for pacey tours. You may equally grasp the heart of the Caribbean experience on Nevis within the plantation’s boundaries, where colonial pastimes may be pursued on lazy croquet lawns and tennis courts. More importantly, in order to grasp the vibe of this Caribbean island, it is essential to become acquainted with local people. This contact is ensured by the Nisbet Plantation family, each member of which always strives to nurture a personal relationship with every guest. This is the predominant and enduring impression of Nisbet Plantation that prevails in each of its guests: the friendliness, enthusiasm and hospitality of its staff.
You have the morning free until you need to check-out and then your transfer will return you to the airport on St Kitts in the afternoon or early evening depending on the time of your flight to London.

About Nevis
An Expressions tailor-made holiday to Nevis is a chance to indulge in luxury, in stunning surroundings. Nevis was once known as ‘Queen of the Caribbees’ because of her graceful society and grand plantation houses. This sense of grace and elegance, coupled with a charm and cosiness is still evident in Nevis today, not just in the obvious Great Houses of the old plantations, many of which are now our hotels, but also in the friendliness of the people and in the way they have preserved proudly links with their past. Luxury hotels on Nevis include Nisbet Plantation a colonial style hotel with excellent quality accommodation and direct access to a beautiful beach. In the centre of the island is Mount Nevis, more often than not with its summit covered in cloud. All around Nevis are visible signs of the old plantations: sugar and cotton used to be the main crops but now ruined great houses and chimneys and boiling houses are being swallowed up by encroaching vegetation. As well as the calm water of the Caribbean that lap Pinney’s Beach and the west coast, Nevis has surf on the east coast Atlantic side. Nevis offers excellent standards of hotel accommodation, an ambience that easily relaxes you and numerous places of interest for sightseeing; perfect for a luxury holiday.
