The launch of the Annabel Croft World Class Tennis Academy in April with a week of tennis between 8-13 April 2012, hosted by the former British No.1 herself.
Hosted Tennis Week with Annabel Croft at the Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus
The Academy offers 9 floodlit tennis courts, of which 4 are clay and has a wealth of facilities and expert coaching.
From 8th – 13th April 2012, Annabel Croft will be giving some invaluable coaching with those clients who wish to sign up for this unique experience. A whole host of activities is planned for the avid tennis player and there will be an opportunity to mingle with fellow players in more sociable settings too. There will be some great tips and drills to keep even the most proficient player on their toes!
Children are welcome and will be taken care of by the excellent resident coaching team and will get the chance to meet Annabel and receive some expert advice from her.
The Annabel Croft tennis week schedule:
Sunday 8th April
10am-12pm - Easter Sunday doubles tournament hosted by the resident UK head pro Steve Cockell
6pm - Registration for the weeks coaching groups
Monday 9th April
9.00–11.30am - Join the resident coaching team on court for some of tennis drills and exercises
4-6pm - Match play and tactics including some special coaching tips on great doubles play
7pm - Open singles tournament (registration by 6pm)
Tuesday 10th April - Official Launch Day of the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy at Aphrodite Hills
9.00-11.30am - Join the resident team of pros and UK head coach Steve Cockell for tennis drills
11.30am - Wilson Racket Testing: Try out the latest equipment from Wilson
4-6pm - Professionals Drill Exhibition - Join Annabel and the team on court for some great insights into the game as she puts the coaching team through their paces. If you are brave enough, perhaps you can join in?
7.30pm - Official launch party for the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy:
Join Annabel and all of the academy team for a special evening to celebrate the launch of the tennis academy – BBQ, cocktails and entertainment and the official opening ceremony will make this a night to remember!
Wed 11th April
9.00-11.30am - Hosted tennis clinic with Annabel - Join Annabel on court for some of her favourite drills and exercises
5.00–6.30pm - Video Analysis Taster Session: Have you ever wondered what your game actually looks like?
Thurs 12th April
9.00-11.30am - Join the resident coaching team on court for some of our tennis drills and exercises
5-7pm - Pro-Am Doubles Tournament and Presentations
Join the teaching professionals and some of the best local players for a special doubles tournament. There are some great prizes on offer and you may even end up with Annabel as your partner!
Fri 13th April
9.00-11.30am - Final on court drills session with the professionals including final summaries
5.00-6.30pm - Open play and social mix in – if you still want to hit more balls then this practice session offers you free court time and some social doubles or singles play
Prices from £3180 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children over 8 years old), for a week from 7th April – 14th April, in a two bedroom villa with shared pool, including flights and transfers.
