Michelin Restaurant Stays in France
The Michelin red guide is the oldest and most respected guide to the world’s best restaurants.
Chefs that are awarded a coveted Michelin star enter the realms of superlative fine dining and their restaurants promise an evening of exceptional and memorable cuisine.
Michelin-starred restaurants can be found all over France and an evening at one adds a very special dimension to your holiday. Expressions Holidays has been creating bespoke luxury holidays for more than twenty years and many of the hotels we work with boast their own Michelin-starred restaurants, or have Michelin-starred restaurants nearby.
Here is a small selection of our favourite hotels with Michelin starred restaurants:
Chateau de Noirieux, Loire Valley
The Chateau de Noirieux is a superbly restored chateau and manor house. The attention to detail in the decoration is noticeable throughout; in the cosy lounge with its open fire place, the bar and the elegant restaurant. There is also a terrace outside the restaurant where meals are served in fine weather. The Michelin star restaurant continues to gain a well deserved reputation, the chef being Gerard Come. Chateau de Noirieux is highly recommended for luxurious short breaks or long, relaxing stays.

Castel Marie-Louise, Brittany
The Castel Marie-Louise enjoys a reputation as one of the best gastronomic hotels in the region. This, coupled with its enviable location in attractive floral gardens opposite the sandy beach at La Baule, makes for an ideal gastronomic break or an intimate honeymoon. In the Michelin starred restaurant, the chef imaginatively combines traditional dishes with more original creations using the best seasonal local produce. To enhance your dining experience even further, choose a bottle from the wonderful wine cellar with the help of the Sommelier.

The Lancaster, Paris
The Lancaster has been completely refurbished to combine an eclectic mixture of extreme luxury and modern style. With just 49 rooms and 11 suites, the hotel has a very personal, charming and cosy feel. The restaurant La Table du Lancaster comes under the guidance of Michelin chef Michael Troisgros. Just off the Champs Elysees, the Lancaster is a haven of discreet charm and luxury. Quite unique.
