There are now a number of villas in Sri Lanka that can be rented as a single house for couples or small groups of people, or sometimes you can book just an individual suite within a villa. This sort of accommodation is ideal for a longer stay, for a family or small group of friends or if you want privacy.Boutique beachfront villas that are fully serviced with staff that can be booked by the villa or individual bedroom suite are Apa Villas (one three-bedroom villa and two two-bedroom villas) and the Frangipani Tree (one five-bedroom villa and two two-bedroom villas). Some of the private colonial planters bungalows that are really mid-range properties can also be booked both by the room and as a whole. These include Kirchhayn Bungalow, a heritage home on a tea estate and Ellerton Bungalow (also on a tea estate and very rural). At the very top end of luxury there are serviced villas where you book the whole villa only and these are The Beach House inTangalle, Taprobane Island and Sri Villas.
