Magnificently located on Motu Tautau on the coral reef, Le Taha’a has been designed as French Polynesia’s most exclusive resort. The islands of Taha’a and Bora Bora are located on either side of the resort, providing unparalleled views. The Polynesian style public buildings have been built into the trees and look out over the lagoon. The interiors make use of natural wood and stone finishes, complemented by sophisticated contemporary furniture to provide a luxurious environment that works in harmony with the natural surroundings. Nestled in a coconut grove between a small lake and the lagoon, the spa has been built from natural materials and offers a comprehensive range of local treatments, including a Manoï Vanira, which makes use of the vanilla that grows abundantly on Taha’a. The resort’s extensive on-site activities include a tennis court, beach volleyball and snorkelling equipment. Taha’a is a beautiful island that is well worth exploring, and the resort organises a superb range of trips including a historical island tour, a jeep safari tour of the botanical garden and a lagoon cruise. There are three restaurants at the resort, offering a diverse choice, from fine dining in Ohiri to the wonderful beachside location of La Plage. Beach barbeques and Polynesian and seafood buffets are often held, accompanied by local entertainment.
