Hotel description
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai occupies a magnificent beachfront location on a thousand feet of wide sandy beach yet only about half an hour from the traditional souqs of the city of Dubai. The resort epitomises discreet elegance and quality. Bedrooms, overlooking the pool and garden area, are large, beautifully furnished with spacious bathrooms and echo the unobtrusive luxury of the rest of the hotel. In the public areas, restful shades of sand and ochre complement the huge palms and lavish flower arrangements. There are ample places both to rest and to treat yourself here at the hotel, with a wide range of dining venues and outstanding sports and leisure facilities. Both tradition and opulence are reflected in the magnificent lobby lounge, renowned for its daily afternoon teas accompanied by music from the resident pianist. At night lively jazz fills the lounge. Dining in the hotel is always a pleasurable experience with a choice of La Baie, a trendy modern seafood restaurant with an Asian fusion touch, and Splendido, a contemporary blend of Italian-style bistro and Mediterranean café affording the chance to dine outdoors on the patio with spectacular sea views. Amaseena, where guests can dine in Bedouin tents and enjoy Arabic dishes and music, is open from October to May. The services of the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai include a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms, a twice-daily maid service and an honour bar.
