About this holiday

A family holiday to the Vila Vita Parc is highly recommended by Expressions Holidays. Our recommendation is built on personal knowledge of the resort and years of excellent feedback from our clients. The resort is dignified and full of character, from the furnishings of the public areas inside the main hotel building, to the beautifully maintained, gently-sloping grounds with their tropical foliage. The spacious resort gives plenty of room to seek out private areas, whilst the range of facilities from spa and sports to dining and child care means that there is not only plenty to occupy the day, there is also variety during your stay. The beach set at the foot of dramatic white cliffs offers water sports whilst just away from the beach you can swim in one of the three pools for adults. Refined and full of charm.

The journey and how you get there

Expressions bases the holiday on the British Airways scheduled flights from London Gatwick to Faro, but many clients ask us to include an airline from their local airport, either a no-frills airline such as Easyjet or a charter flights perhaps with Monarch or Thomson. We are more than happy to include these in the holiday we arrange for you. Once you arrive at Faro, we have a private transfer organised for you, although some clients do ask us to prebook a hire-car instead. The Vila Vita Parc is about 45 minutes away from Faro airport, so an easy journey.

The Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa is an immaculate and characterful resort offering excellent activities and facilities for guests of all ages.

Hotel description

Offering excellent activities and facilities ideal for all ages, the Vila Vita Parc is a well-designed complex set amongst beautiful subtropical gardens. Palm trees and bougainvillaea colour the landscape that surrounds Vila Vita Parc Resort and Spa, set majestically on a cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The whitewashed Moorish-influenced architecture dazzles in the sunlight, reflecting the style of many of the villages seen throughout the Algarve.
The accommodation at the Vila Vita Parc Resort and Spa is spread through a number of buildings located in different parts of the grounds, offering excellent choice. A number of family suites are available, located in Oasis Parc and Vista Parc only a short walk from the main hotel. These suites can accommodate up to four people and are very spacious, with a separate living and dining area. The rooms are comfortably furnished and benefit from views over the gardens or the ocean. Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa has an excellent reputation as a destination for spa and pampering treatments, but it is equally well suited to other leisure pursuits, whether exploring the coastline on the resort’s yacht, swimming in one of the five pools, three for adults and two for children, or enjoying the 18-hole putting green. Children of all ages will enjoy the extensive range of activities that are offered, such as beach games and arts and crafts. The hotel has direct access to two sandy beaches, one of which has daily lifeguard supervision. The eight restaurants continue the extensive choice that is offered throughout the resort, from international cuisine in Bela Vita, to traditional Portugese Specialities in Adega. Adults and children alike will appreciate the beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities offered by the Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa.

Children's club
Annabella’s Kids Park is for children aged from 4 to 11 years old and is open every day during the school holidays and Monday to Friday throughout the rest of the year. Most activities are free but some are at an additional cost. The kids’ club is open from 10am to 6pm, and during periods of high occupancy there is an evening programme and kids dinner four times a week. The weekly activity programme at the resort comprises an excellent range of activities, from arts and crafts to team games and minigolf tournaments. Off-site activities may include beach games or an excursion to Zoomarine. There is a staff to child ratio of 1 to 6. Meals are provided at an additional cost, from a special à la carte children’s menu. Teenager’s Activities The resort runs a number of teen activities for children aged from 12 and above during July and August, 4 days a week. There is a staff to teen ratio of 1 to 10. Activities range from volleyball, snooker and football to beach games, jeep tours and water park visits. The charges are variable, according to the activity. Crèche Natalie’s Crèche is open throughout the year for children aged from 6 months to 3 years. Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance but it is recommended that the service is booked as early as possible. The crèche has a large playroom with toys suitable for babies and small children, a sleeping room and a changing area. Parents are requested to provide their usual baby food or to order from the special crèche menu, at an additional charge. Children can attend the crèche hourly, for half a day or for a full day. Please ask for details of charges for all children's activities.

Family rooms
The resort has an excellent range of accommodation and interconnecting rooms are available. The family suites can accommodate up to four people and have spacious living and dining areas.

The hotel is able to provide child safety features, baby baths, potties, changing mats, bottle-sterilising kit, bottle-heating facility, kettle and night light on request.
Babysitting
In-room babysitting is available in the evenings only, at a charge and must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance. There is a maximum of 4 children per babysitter. Snacks and meals can be provided on request at an additional charge.

Children’s books, DVDs/videos and board games are available. Evening entertainment for children is organised by the resort.

Family dining
The resort’s restaurants offer excellent choice and include The Whale, an Italian Trattoria that is especially suitable for families. Children are welcomed in the Bela Vita, Adega, Whale and Arte Nautica restaurants, and at Atlantico for dinner only. In these restaurants, highchairs and non-smoking areas are available, as well as an individual children’s menu and à la carte. All bars and restaurants are now non smoking. Please note that the restaurants are subject to seasonal opening.
