Children's Club
The Children’s Ark is open from mid-April to October, six days a week, from 10am until 6pm. On arrival at the hotel, children are given a welcome bag with information about the Children’s Ark and a surprise gift. The club is split into three different groups – Penguins (age 2-4), Dolphins (age 4-6) and Tigers (age 6-10). Centred on the theme of an animal park, the Children’s Ark is surrounded by an olive grove at the southern end of the golf course and the outside areas have been thoughtfully designed to protect children from overexposure to the sun.
Run by nursery nurses and experienced staff, the staff to child ratio for the 2-4 year olds is 1:4 and 1:8 for 4-10 year olds. The weekly programme is catered towards the different age groups and includes ceramics, making cookies, swimming, basketball, treasure hunts and play-acting. Charges vary according to age group and length of session.
Swimming, tennis and golf lessons by qualified instructors can be enjoyed at an additional cost. Snacks provided at 10am and lunch is optional and provided at a charge, with specific dietary requirements catered for on request.
Crèche: As part of the Children’s Ark, the crèche caters for children aged from six months to two years. The qualified nursery nurses are trained in first aid and the staff to child ratio is 1:2. Charges vary according to length of session and frequency booked. There are specific areas dedicatd to this age group.
Children`s Amenities:The hotel is able to provide child safety features, potties, changing mats, bottle-sterilising kits and kettles on request. Please ask for details. For children Younger guests receive toiletries, slippers and a gift bag on arrival.
Pre-ordering service: It is possible to order provisions for infants and toddlers which you will receive in your room on arrival. Please ask for details.
Children's entertainment: Children’s books, DVDs, videos and board games are available. The hotel also organises a mini disco and themed evenings for family entertainment in the summer.
Pools: There is an indoor adults’ pool, freshwater outdoor swimming pool and a children’s paddling pool, both supervised by a lifeguard from 10am to 6pm.
Restrictions:Children from 6 years and older can use the indoor pool only if accompanied by an adult. The gym and spa are restricted to adult use only.
Babysitting: In-room babysitting is available in daytime and evening at a charge and must be pre-booked at least 6 hours in advance. There is a maximum of 2 children per babysitter. Babysitting Listening Is not available at the hotel.

Medical services: There is 24-hour first aid cover on site. The nearest hospital is 7 kilometres from the hotel.
Family dining: Children are allowed to dine with adults in the main restaurant, where highchairs and non-smoking areas are available. A children’s menu is provided and à la carte is available if the order is placed prior to mealtimes. Early dining at 6pm is also available for families with children. Children are not allowed in the gourmet restaurants.
Safety provision: Beach and pool areas supervised by lifeguards between 10am and 6pm. Children’s life jackets are provided for water-based sports including boat trips.
Age Restrictions: Waterskiing, Rings, Float discs, Banana ride – 7+, Scuba diving – 8+, Windsurfing – 15+, Jet-skiing – 18+ (unless as passenger with an adult).
Other activities: Children’s playground, Bike hire, Theme evenings and DJ nights for teenagers.
Family Rooms: Interconnecting rooms are available. The deluxe suites with shared pool and the exclusive 2 bedroom suite with individual pool are particularly recommended for families. Extra beds and cots can be provided on request. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child in a room, but 2 adults and 2 children in a suite. Children are allowed their own room, which can be interconnecting with the adult room.
