Hotel description
The Elysium has taken elements of contemporary design blended with influences from the Byzantine era to create a harmonious and luxurious sanctuary for the body and mind. Colonnades, mosaics and waterfalls offer elegant touches against a background of muted colours and rooms with high ceilings flooded with light. Palm trees separate the hotel from the sandy beach and Mediterranean Sea and from here, a coastal path takes you straight to the quaint port of Paphos where there is a selection of bars and restaurants. Guests can relax next to the large pool, built on many levels under the shade of jasmine, citrus and olive trees. The Elysium is also ideal for those looking for a winter break, as there is a heated outdoor pool for spring and autumn days and a beautifully serene indoor pool for colder days. The deluxe spa offers a peaceful and tranquil sanctuary to soothe your mind and body while luxuriating in one of the expert ESPA treatments. The philosophy behind ESPA is using the power of touch to relax and reassure the body while indulging the senses to promote a deep sense of wellbeing. The skin is cleansed and nourished to leave it glowing with health. The treatment menu is made up of rejuvenating facials, soothing body massages and smoothing wraps incorporating aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. The hotel has an extensive range of room types for families, couples and singles. Select from sea view or garden view, and all rooms are decorated stylishly in creams and whites, with splashes of terracotta adding interest. The Royal Studios are set apart from the main building, enjoying stunning views and offering the ultimate retreat for those searching for privacy and tranquillity. Each villa boasts its own garden and private plunge pool for keeping cool, while the large shared, heated swimming pool is adjacent. Elysium’s six restaurants offer an appetising choice of venue and style of cuisine. Locally-grown fresh fruit and vegetables form the basis of delicious gourmet meals. In the main restaurant, the Epicurian, guests can sample from the à la carte menu or enjoy one of the hotel’s themed dinners. The Lemonia Piazza offers a more relaxed, all-day dining experience with an eclectic menu influenced by international cuisine. A visit to the Elysium will leave you feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and thoroughly pampered. Its elegance and charm seduces and stimulates the mind while the tranquil ambiance and hypnotising treatments release the body of daily stresses and strains.
