An Expressions Holiday to the Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos is based on a British Airways flight from London Gatwick to Paphos but we can also offer you Heathrow to Larnaca which is a slightly longer tranfser but it offers sometimes more availability. Lots of our clients want to take a flight from their local airport to Paphos and this we can arrange for them, including in the holiday a no-frills or a charter flight. Once you arrive in Paphos, you will be met by a private transfer and taken to the hotel about 45 minutes' drive from the airport.

The Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos is a recently refurbished hotel built in the style of an old monastery and enjoys a prime location on the waterfront and a short walk from Paphos itself.

Situated on the waterfront and just two kilometres from Paphos’ charming fishing harbour, the Paphos Amathus Beach Hotel offers a delicate balance of cultural exploration and beach relaxation.
The Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos has 273 rooms and suites all featuring their own private balcony or verandah with a sea, pool or inland view. The ambience of the main building is echoed throughout the rooms which are furnished with elegance and freshened to a sleek finish, boasting marble ensuite bathrooms with luxury toiletries. An excellent range of accommodation includes the option of connecting rooms and family suites. The family rooms are equipped with a spacious living area including a three-seater settee which can be converted into an extra double bed. The large freeform outdoor swimming pool expands through the Amathus Beach Hotel grounds, commanding centre stage for most of the day’s activities. The indoor pool and the shingle beach, with sun loungers and umbrellas for the sole use of hotel guests, offer a more tranquil setting for those seeking a little peace and quiet. The Byzantium Coffee Shop is open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. A further four restaurants all serving different cuisine, including al fresco dining, provide a range of dining experiences, and the recently refurbished hotel bar, Nubar, offers an stylish, chic experience for guests. Recreational facilities at the Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos are in abundance ranging from the standard watersports, floodlit tennis courts and recreation centre to a dedicated weekly programme exploring some of the more adventurous activities such as archery, handicrafts, cooking lessons and aquaerobics. There are three golf clubs within 20 minutes drive of the hotel and reservations can be made through the front desk. Children will especially enjoy a trip to the bird park or the water park, both situated within close proximity to the hotel

Children

Children under 4 are not allowed in the Amorosa, Rottisserie and Asiachi restaurants. During the festive season children under 12 are not allowed in the main restaurant. On these two evenings a party is organized for children in the Byzantine Coffee Shop.

Children's Club
Pelican Kids Club has a Children's Club for 4 to 12 year olds and a Teenager's Club for 12 to 16 year olds, open from 9am to 6pm during school holidays and half term. The club is free of charge and a qualified junior’s activities organiser is always on hand. The club comprises of an indoor area for games and reading and playground which is shaded during the summer months and is located within the grounds near to the main swimming pool. The club activities can include use of the children’s pool which is 50cm deep.
