The Hotel Augustus is a characterful hotel, set in tranquil grounds with excellent beach facilities.
Hotel description
The Hotel Augustus occupies a prime position in an elegant residential area just a short walk from the centre of one of Italy’s most exclusive beach resorts, Forte dei Marmi. The Hotel Augustus comprises several individual villas and our rooms can be found in the three main buildings, the Villa, the Nave and the Lido. The main villa retains the air and furnishings of an exclusive private residence, each room enjoying its own style, and the atmosphere is one of informal elegance. The Nave (the ship) is the more modern wing of the Hotel Augustus, and although the rooms are not as luxurious as in the main villa, each one has a large terrace with park view and most have two bathrooms. The Augustus Lido is situated closest to the sea and is linked to the hotel’s private beach by an underground passageway. The rooms are a clever mix of cheerful decoration and antique furniture. Buffet breakfast is served on the outdoor terrace, shaded by the tall pines and just a few metres away from the large swimming pool with its pretty garden setting. For lunch, you can choose between a buffet lunch under the shade of the pines or the A la Carte restaurant on the beach. Guests may even prefer to lunch at the beach restaurant as part of their half board option, leaving the evenings free to sample the local cuisine (for this a small supplement is paid locally).
