Chia Laguna offers low-lying, Mediterranean-style buildings in a lush valley, with a backdrop of mountains and facing the sea and sandy beaches.

Hotel description

Only moments from beautiful beaches and lagoons Chia Laguna is situated in a lush valley, surrounded by mountains. This is a four-star resort with excellent facilities, set amongst the enchanting landscape of South Sardinia. The resort’s low-lying buildings do not detract from the natural environment, having been designed to incorporate the ancient characteristics of the island with a more modern style.
Accommodation at Chia Laguna is composed of hotel rooms and cottage rooms. The hotel rooms are situated in a three-storey building and the cottage rooms are spread throughout the resort’s lush landscape. The rooms are welcoming and spacious and have been decorated in a traditional Sardinian style with tiled floors and warm colours. Guests can enjoy the seclusion of the resort’s location by the side of one of the three swimming pools or in the sauna. This relaxed ambience is complemented by excellent sports facilities, including four tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch and minigolf. The resort’s beach is located 700 metres away at beautiful Chia Bay, which is reached by a complimentary shuttle bus and where a number of water sports can be enjoyed. Children of all ages are very well catered for, with the resort running a nursery, a kids’ club and a teenagers’ club. The activities offered by these groups very according to age group and include arts and crafts, beach games, swimming and football.
Teenagers can also enjoy evening entertainment with supervised pizza parties and disco nights. The resort’s four restaurants are all suitable for family dining and serve a superb range of cuisine to ensure that all palates are well catered for. This is an excellent resort that is equally well suited to both relaxation and activity.

Children’s club
The Penguin Club is free of charge for children aged from 3 to 12 years old. The club operates between 14 May and 29 September, from 9am to 1pm and 3.30pm to 6pm. There is a staff to child ratio of 1 to 3. On arrival at the hotel, children are given T-shirts or balloons to welcome them to the kids’ club. There is an excellent range of activities offered at the kids’ club, from swimming and beach games to arts and crafts and weekly parties. Buffet meals are provided at the Children’s Restaurant at an extra charge.
Teenagers’ club Those aged between 12 and 17 can enjoy supervised activities catered towards their age-range at the Teenagers’ club, which is open from 14 May to 29 September. These activities may include volleyball, football and beach games. Video games are also available in the teenagers’ area. In the evenings, pizza parties and disco evenings are arranged.
Nursery A nursery is available for younger children aged up to 2 years, at a charge, and is open between 9am to 1pm and 3.30pm to 6pm daily from 14 May to 29 September. There is a staff to child ratio of 1 to 1 and meals are available at an additional charge.

Family rooms
Interconnecting rooms are available on request, in the deluxe rooms and the family cottages. Maximum occupancy is 4 people in the family cottages. The deluxe rooms sleep three people, or four with an extra bed. Extra beds and cots can be provided on request.

The resort is able to provide bottle heating facilities and kettles on request.
Babysitting
In-room babysitting is available in daytime and evening at a charge. It is recommended that babysitting is booked prior to arrival.
