Hotel description
The Danieli is a world-famous hotel occupying a wonderful location right on the lagoon waterfront, just a couple of minutes’ walk from St Mark’s. Consisting now of several connected buildings, the original Danieli is a 14th Century neo-Gothic palace, an architectural treasure in its own right. An immense inner covered courtyard in Venetian neo-Gothic style creates a breathtaking impression as you enter the Hotel Danieli. You can marvel at the splendid architecture from the lounge and bar below. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and are decorated in a variety of styles, including Venetian and Imperial. From the rooftop restaurant at the Hotel Danieli you can enjoy at your leisure local and Mediterranean cuisine as well as the panorama of the Grand Canal, the Lagoon and towards the Adriatic in the distance.
