The Palazzo Sasso is a luxurious hotel in a very privileged location.
Hotel description
The Palazzo Sasso continues to receive very favourable reports from our clients since its opening ten years ago. Situated in the heart of Ravello splendidly overlooking the Amalfi coast, the Palazzo Sasso occupies a 12th Century palace now completely refurbished yet with its regional Moorish influences having been retained. The colour of pinkish terracotta on the outside, the interior is cool and light with marble and pale coloured furnishings. The Caffe dell’Arte is a comfortable, elegant inside loungebar serving snacks and afternoon tea whilst one floor below is the gourmet two Michelin stars Rossellinis Restaurant with service inside and on the terrace. The bedrooms face both the sea and the mountains. They all vary slightly in size but are comfortably and elegantly furnished in a restrained, understated fashion. In the marble bathrooms, bathrobes and slippers are provided. The views are quite superb from the hotel and many a peaceful hour could be spent on the terrace sipping a refreshing drink or up on the sun deck enjoying the panorama of the Amalfi coast below and the hills around Ravello. An added bonus is the openair swimming pool at the hotel, which enjoys a splendid situation on one of the garden terraces with views of the sea. There is also a spa with a hydropool, steam bath, sauna and treatment rooms. The hotel also has its own beach club, the recently opened Sasso by the Sea. The Palazzo Sasso is an ideal place for honeymoons and special occasions. It enjoys a great reputation, so early booking is advisable.
