Opened in 2006, Amanyara enjoys a beautiful location at the northwest point of Providenciales. Reached by a narrow coastal road, the resort sits beside a nature and wildlife reserve with the superb reefs of the Northwest Point Marine Park just off the beach. The resort is a haven of peace and tranquillity, blending in perfectly with the environment; low-lying rooftops and a glorious ocean view setting overlook a stunning stretch of white sand beach. Water is a very prominent feature at Amanyara, with the pretty grounds dotted with ponds. Through the large reception pavilion there is a particularly striking reflecting pool with the library and boutique on one side and the dining room on the other. Here guests can enjoy Asian and Mediterranean dishes while admiring the wonderful views of the beach from the delightful terrace. Although very grand and striking, Amanyara is also a relaxed, cosy and friendly place. Days can be spent relaxing by the pool or indulging in a spa treatment. The more active can choose to enjoy water sports, explore the island, take a chartered cruise or play a round of golf. Amanyara’s 40 bedrooms are built in elegant pavilions with a choice of ocean or pond settings. The pavilions are stylish and very comfortable, designed and charmingly decorated in soothing Caribbean colours. Each one has three terraces featuring daybeds with low tables and a sunken table with soft cushions so that guests can relax, dine or simply soak up the sun
