A stylish yet discreet small luxury hotel, The House is set on a wonderful stretch of golden West Coast sand in Barbados. The House hotel has just 32 suites, and its essence is an exceptional level of personalised service for guests who desire privacy and relaxation in an informal yet sophisticated environment. These hallmarks greet the visitor on arrival as you enter along The House’s private driveway surrounded by lily ponds to reach a profusion of natural wood, whites and blues and the natural simplicity of the sand and sea in the distance. The modern colonial style of the building creates the perfect ambience for rest and relaxation. A special feature of The House is a personal ambassador assigned to each room, who attends discreetly to any request around the clock. In addition there is a private breakfast service and a specially created room service menu. Daphne’s restaurant located next door to The House combines the fine cuisine and eclectic Italian menu of its famous London counterpart with a truly idyllic beachside setting. It is advisable to book in advance for Daphne’s. A range of water sports is available for guests at The House. The policy of no children under eighteen at The House hotel helps maintain a discreet, dignified environment aimed at luxurious pampering in an elegant setting.
