Opening onto 750 feet of sandy beach, the Tamarind Cove hotel occupies a prime location on the elegant West Coast of Barbados. Tamarind Cove, a sister hotel to Colony Club, has 110 rooms and suites and offers a very wide range of excellent leisure facilities. The construction of the Tamarind Cove hotel has created intimate areas with pools, courtyards and fountains. The building has a Mediterranean influence with its red-tiled roof, but its gardens of hibiscus and bougainvillaea opening onto the beach are unmistakeably Caribbean. A great advantage of Tamarind Cove is the 750-foot stretch of beach, which enhances the feeling of space. A wide range of wining and dining is available with Tamarind Cove’s restaurants and two bars. Sasso’s Restaurant offers gourmet cuisine in the evening, and Tangiers open-air dining with nightly entertainment, perhaps calypso or jazz. Bedrooms at Tamarind Cove are spacious and cheerful, with rattan furniture and soft tropical colours.
