A great value, all inclusive resort on the secluded north east coast of Antigua.
Hotel description
The Verandah Resort & Spa is located in an idyllic spot on a bluff on the secluded north east coast of Antigua. This all inclusive, eco-friendly resort encompasses 30 acres, fringed by two white sandy beaches and bordered by Devil’s Bridge National Park with its hiking trails and dramatic landmark rock arch. Whether you want to be active or simply soak up the natural beauty of your surroundings, The Verandah Resort & Spa is a great place for families to relax, reconnect and share new experiences. Unwind at the island's largest free-form swimming pool or indulge in rejuvenating and exotic treatments at the resort's signature Spa Tranquility. Kayak, snorkel, windsurf or swim in the tranquil waters of the resort's two reef-sheltered beaches and discover eco-adventures in the National Park and around the island. Diving is also available at the resort’s sister hotel, St James Club. A new miniature golf course at The Verandah provides fun for the whole family as you play around lush garden lagoons. There is a choice of restaurants including the main buffet restaurant, fine dining in Nicole’s (supplement applies) and the a la carte Buccaneer. These are complemented by a couple of bars, live entertainment and even a mini-cinema. Children will have a lovely time enjoying the supervised activities at the resort's dedicated Kid's Club, featuring its own pool and climbing adventure. Meanwhile, teenagers can get together for volleyball and other fun-filled activities. The suites are located in single-storey villas (two rooms per villa) and are scattered through the beautifully landscaped resort. Each is decorated in Caribbean style with a private verandah and has a king size bed and queen sleeper sofa, sleeping up to four people. A kitchenette is a handy inclusion and exterior connecting doors between adjoining units make it easy for families to stay together.
