Wine-tasting in Valpolicella
In our opinion, the best place for a superb wine-tasting experience in Valpolicella is in the luxury, privately owned Hotel Villa del Quar situated on the outskirts of Verona in its own seven acre estate.

We highly recommend you participate in one of the organised wine-tasting sessions with the hotel’s experienced Sommelier in the hotel’s wine cellar where vintages from 1960s onwards are carefully stored. Here you will taste three different vintages of Amarone della Valpolicella, the most important wine of the Valpolicella region. Its distinctive flavour comes from the dried grapes used in its production and is what makes it so coveted by wine connoisseurs the world over.
