In 1989 we, Marcelle Hoff and Martin Garland, launched our travel business from scratch. We had considerable experience between us in the travel industry, in marketing and in management consultancy. Yet we leaped off the cliff without a single client, actual or prospect on the database. In fact there was no database. We knew, however, what we wanted to create and how we wanted to deliver. Obviously, ultimately, it was intended to be a business and to be profitable. However, from the outset the way we went about forging that business had to reflect our beliefs for both our market and the destinations we wanted to offer. A harmony was to exist between our clients, the suppliers we selected and the manner in which we transacted.

We started with a small, personally-selected range of hotels of character throughout France from which we decided we would construct tailor-made itineraries and holidays. No two holidays have ever really been the same. This degree of personalisation was fundamental to our offering back in 1989 and is still fundamental to it today when we have grown from a small programme in France to offering a range of both destination-specialist programmes to Italy, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean and New Zealand to lifestyle-specialist programmes featuring Honeymoons, Weddings abroad, Spa and Wellbeing holidays and Family holidays.
For 22 years now we have been taking excellent care of discerning clients and have grown the business in product range admittedly, as the needs of our clients have developed, but the essence and style of how we look after you remains the same. We have developed excellent relationships with suppliers worldwide; they give us numerous benefits we pass on to you.
